Local Councillors Panel

The Councillor Panel is the first regular research tool for understanding the views of Local Government Councillors in England and Wales. ComRes offers unique access to this audience through regular bi-monthly omnibus (multi-client) surveys.

The Councillor Panel enables you to measure and track over time the views of Councillors from across the political spectrum and authority types. Councillor Panel surveys are conducted every two months. Clients are able to commission as many or as few questions per survey as they wish (subject to capacity), and we guarantee a minimum sample size of 400 Councillors per wave.

Results are weighted to reflect the composition of all Councils in England and Wales and a breakdown is given by age, gender, region, political party and authority type. A full analytical report is offered as part of our standard package and a presentation of the results in person can be given if required for modest additional cost.

Flat question unit prices include all consultation over the research design, fieldwork, data processing, production of tables and creation of an actionable analysis.

Fieldwork usually starts on the last Monday of the month and topline results are available within four weeks.
