Cancer Research UK

Leading health charity Cancer Research UK commissioned ComRes to conduct parliamentary polling ahead of the free vote in the House of Commons on a smoking ban in England and Wales.  The objectives of the research were to assess the appetite among MPs to introduce a ban without exemptions, and to test some of the campaign’s principal campaign messages.

The poll results were trailed widely in the media, and the results were accurate to within one percent of the actual vote in the House of Commons.
