Whatever the arguments about climate change and its causes, we believe that to minimise our impact on the environment makes good business sense.

That is why we offset our carbon emissions – indeed we were the first major polling firm to do so.   But our commitment to ‘doing our bit’ also goes to the heart of our day to day business practices.

Our staff team are encouraged to cycle or travel to work on public transport.  Where possible we walk to meetings or hold them online.

ComRes tries to keep paper usage to a minimum and we recycle all waste, including shredded confidential paperwork.

And we encourage our staff team to do those things that save the company money at the same time as minimising our environmental impact – such as switching off unnecessary lights and not overfilling the kettle.

Perhaps most importantly, where we can we prefer to use suppliers who have the same attitude as we have towards the environment.  After all, everyone likes doing business with people who share their values.
